The Auckland Dream Centre is a volunteer-driven organisation that finds and fills the needs of thousands of individuals and families in the city of Auckland. The heart of the Dream Centre is to help those who are struggling with addictions, homelessness and other life-controlling issues.
Adopt-a-Block is the Dream Centre’s flagship outreach initiative, serving multiple neighbourhood sites covering up to 12 blocks every month with teams of volunteers reaching out and changing lives.
Adopt-a-Block activities include youth mentoring, budgeting service, school beautification projects, food distribution, clothing giveaways, neighbourhood clean-ups, block parties and more.
Friday PM, Saturday AM & Sunday AM
Each week, while most people are at home relaxing or still sleeping, volunteers from the Dream Centre are working in areas of downtown Auckland, where homelessness and sex workers are prevalent, taking food and clothing to meet the needs of over 150 individuals and families living on the street.
Our collection boxes are located in the church foyer, where you can donate specific items that assist us in reaching the needs of communities.
We ask that you please only donate items that are near new and undamaged/unopened food items to ensure they can be used for greater impact!

OTHER CHURCH COMMUNITY SERVICES
Harbourside Church aims to be a safe place for people with disability. We provide a service to enable them to go to church and gain spiritual experience. Our initiatives are:
Mobility Bus: This transports people with disability to and from our Sunday Services. It is driven by licensed drivers and is maintained for road-worthiness.
Trained team of care-givers: While in the bus and in the church, our Care Team provides support and practical assistance to ensure a safe environment for people with disability.
